Late Monday night dinner for 4. Crowded, loud, and fun. Started of with the Trash Can Nachos with the carnitas option and four Margarita specials. We shared the small order, and it was enough for 4. All agreed thesenachoswerethe best…I really mean the best… we have ever eaten.Accompanied by the flavorful (wish I remembered the name) drinks, I was ready to repeat our order and forget the rest of the dinner.Next, we had the Chipotle Pork and Corn Tacos, cilantro rice, borracho beans, crema, pico de gallo, guacamole + warm flour tortillas and grilled marinated skirt steak. Although good, nothing memorable. We finished with the House-Made Churros…warm and tossed in cinnamon sugar, a touch of chili de arbol, and accompanied by Mexican chocolate and dulce de leche dips. They looked intimidating, but were surprisingly light. These are a must to finish your meal. Bottom line…order drinks, get the large Trash Can Nachos, and finish with the succulent Churros. Don’t bother with the so-so entrees. Youwill be delightfully filled with a truly memorable eating experience.
We had a quick bite here before the Penn & Teller Magic Show and enjoyed Guacamole and chips as well as the house salsa. Very good food as well as service is what we encountered.
