I took my wife and uncle to Kung Fu Thai & Chinese on a busy Saturday. I was eager to try this restaurant since it has been part of Las Vegas for so long. The restaurant was a cool relief from the heat and the atmosphere hummed with the chatter of many families. My wife and I ordered the pad thai with tofu and took another stab at finding a Mongolian tofu we liked. My uncle got pad thai with chicken which he absolutely loved. I thought the pad thai was pleasant but could’ve used just a bit more of a flavor boost. The tofu interestingly had a slightly sweet taste to it. Unfortunately, it was a bit greasy and I missed having a lime wedge to squeeze over the dish. My wife was fine with the mongolian tofu, but I had reached a grease overload and couldn’t continue. I gave this a three because my relatives were happier than me.

One of the best Thai cuisines I have found at a reasonable price.Serving Staff are very friendly and although the place gets super busy almost each weekday night we’ve gone, they still manage to give decent service.Ambiance is decent. Not an upscale fine dining restaurant, so don’t go expecting that sort of ambiance.Food is great here. Haven’t tried all of their vast menu items, however the few we’ve tried over time have been great.Word of advice, be aware of the spice level, anything above 6 can get a bit too crazy :)Overall, this is one great Thai food place. We still visit it when we go to LV on vacation even though we don’t live in the US anymore…
Kung Fu is our all-time favorite Chinese Restaurant in Las Vegas! My family has been dining there since the early 80s when they were located Downtown at the Plaza. The Wong family who still own and run the restaurant are the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet. They cook the most authentic Chinese food in Las Vegas! Hands down – The Best Ever!!!
