I have been to many restaurants in many big cities and was impressed with their upkeep and food but this place is not well kept, old, poor in service, and expensive. You can smell kitchen items at your seat. It is far more expensive than nearby indian restaurants. The restaurant does not provide standrad items with order such as a bowl of rice, papd, and chillies. Everything needs to be paid. Service is poor and warm water is served. If you ask for cold water they will bring a cup full of ice and you pour that ice into your cup. Food quantity is so small that it is not even enough for a single person. Naans are paper thin and without butter even if you ask for butter naan. Quality of food is below average. It is very disappointing. It seems they dont have repeat customers as it is located behind the building and in a dark place. At night it seemed scary. All customers seemed to be tourists, and owner did not care about them as they will not come back again. I went to other nearby restaurant on flemingo street near las vegas strip, it is called Indian Masala. I was impressed with the quality of food, quantity they serve, and service but I would never go to Bombay Indian Cuisine. I am sorry to write all this but I thought to let others know before they makeup their minds and get a shock by eating at this retaurant.
A good place to come, if you are tired of the Western junk food, and are craving for some Indian food. I had the dal, chilly chicken and naan during my visit. I think the Naan served was not freshly hand made, but one of those frozen things you get here in US. Chilly chicken wasn’t anything special. Most of all, I hated paying 40$ ! If you ever come here, be prepared to pay a lot more than you’d expect.
A decent place, a little tough to find. It’s real close to the Ross store or Reviera (the shut down place)However , its at the back of the block.Predominantly a buffet place, they have a la carte , but for very limited time.We were turned down once , as we reached too late. The packed meals that we took were average. They also forgot to put all pieces of naan. However , on the positive side, their buffet is vast and relatively , decently priced.Staff is Gujarati , yet won’t really be friendly.Overall , an ok place to go.
Going downhill. We have been here twice. Once last spring when it was decent. Went back this spring and had the buffet. To say it was bad would be an understatement. The food quality was poor with no spices. People who are used to eating Indian buffets know that the menu is really poor when there are 5 dishes and its difficult to distinguish between them in taste. The service and the naan were the only good things at this place. Won’t be going back.BTW, we are Indian and have been to so many buffets that we are probably too critical. Despite this, this was really bad!
Fantastic!!!!!!!. Great lunch time buffet!!! All the favorites, plus extras like dosai!Server was also lovely, very polite, attentive and soft-spoken.
