I checked this place out after a movie and was pleasantly surprised. Their falafel sandwich was really balanced and tasty: not too dry and not too soggy. The falafel was average but the fresh tomato and cucumber salad really elevated the sandwich for me. I also enjoyed the hummus and roasted red peppers. As a bonus, you don’t have to worry about not having enough ketchup: the fries came with a small swimming pool of ketchup. Service was friendly and the location is great. I was told their baklava is vegan but I will have to try that next time.
We treated Uncle Pepe, the head of the family who hosted us on our trip to Las Vegas here. Crazy Pita serves authentic Mediterranean cuisine with a touch of American preparation. I got a tender and tasty Lamb Kebab Rice Bowl, filled with creamy hummus, Greek Salad, and rice for just $ 12. I appreciated it more with a hefty amount of Feta Cheese, a request the staff gladly extended to me. Mia got their best selling, Chicken Kebab Pita, accompanied by Americas ultimate carb, French Fries. Here in Manila, we have this type of establishment as well. It is similar to Falafel Yo. They have branches at Greenbelt and SM North Edsa. alwayshungry.ph
Bland and overcooked. This is a casual restaurant where you order at the counter and food is brought to your table. My wife ordered the chicken skewer plate and I ordered the lamb skewer. Each came with vegetable cous cous, a small salad, hummus and pita bread. The food was on the bland side with the meat overdone and dry. After having read so many positive reviews, I found our experience to be a disappointment. I saved a few dollars by using a coupon I found in the Zip Code Magazine.
