I’ve been here a few times. I’m being kind giving it a three rating. It is not bad, only slightly above average. The servers, or at least my server was very good, keeping my drink full and clearing the plates. Choices are abundant too, with Mexican, Italian, an American section and of course Chinese stir fries. I arrived at the cusp of lunch around 10:45 so they were just about shutting down the breakfast lay out and had not started with the lunch. I was more in the mood for lunch so I waited a bit. At eleven, hardly any lunch items were laid out yet, but I was able to have some chili which was curiously made with sausage. It was good though, just not what I was expecting. Had the peel and eat shrimp and I think I made most of my meal on it. They were good and the cocktail sauce was bright and flavorful. I skipped dessert although they had a lot of choices. This is probably not a buffet I would seek out as a destination, but I was gambling here and it was convenient. There are enough choices to satisfy just about anyone.

Low expectations. We have been to the Firelight buffet a few times in the past so my expectations were very low. Our only excuse for dining that morning is we each earned a free comp as a byproduct of our regular gambling. I started out with watered down OJ. I initially did not see any fresh fruit so I opted for a spoonful of canned. On my second pass I ordered a feta cheese and spinach omelet which ended up being very dry due to overcooking. I also sampled a small slice of kielbasa and corned beef hash which were both fatty. On my final pass I discovered some unripe honeydew melon which I topped with blueberry and strawberry yogurt. The yogurt was the highlight of an otherwise disappointing meal.

Maybe the quality would be good if we were in a 3rd world country. Worst food I’ve EVER had. I’m not one to complain! I lived in Mozambique for two years and the food there was even better! Waste of time an money. My wife and I spent the next few days suffering in the bathroom. There are lots of other inexpensive and delicious places to eat in Henderson.

Below average. I geuss for Buffet food it was good, but for the price I was pretty dissapointed. The food quality was mixed from plate to plate, not what I expected for a Vegas buffet. Shop around bst bet is the Chilli’s accross the street.
