Great Restaurant but Somewhat Disorganized. I loved the food at KJ’s. It was amazingly authentic. There wer e live fish and crustaceans in aquariums by the front door. These were not decorative tanks. The seafood was there because the chefs use FRESH products. Although the menu featured such popular items as kung pao chicken (but not beef with broccoli which is an Americanized dish), it also featured such exotic fare as duck tongues, steamed frog, and braised intestines, and duck feet. The customers were almost entirely Chinese which spoke well for the quality of KJ’ s food.My only problem with this restaurant was the hostess station. Although the hostess took down my name, pushy customers shoved their way past me to demand seating. They stood at tables that were being cleared and then seated themselves. The hostess did not say anything. My date and I lost three tables until we became more assertive, stepping forward so that we stayed in front of the growing crowd of people waiting to be seated.KJ would benefit if the hostess had a podium at the front door. Instead of serving and clearing tables, the hostess should have stayed at the front of the restaurant to greet new customers, to establish a waiting list for tables, and to maintain some sort of crowd control to discourage people from jumping the line and stealing tables.I was there at 6:30 PM on a Tuesday night and the place was PACKED! Due to people jumping line and stealing tables, we waited nearly an hour before being seated. The quality of the food made the wait worthwhile. We had chicken kung pao, braised bass, and Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce. The meal came with a large bowl of rice. Dinner for two came to about $40.00.

RUDE. Worse service in Las Vegas!!My husband, daughter and I showed up at 1:00 am on our way home. We were greeted by a Mexican….in a Chinese restaurant. The other 5 Asians that work there were setting at a table by the kitchen. I am not exaggerating when I say they STARED at us the entire time. It was uncomfortable to say the least. We were all very nicely dressed and polite. We ordered three appetizers and three drinks. The spring rolls were brought out to us burned. I asked them to please bring us some that was not burned. The waiter was not rude but when he came back he said the kitchen would not remake them and he would take them off of the bill. The staring continued! The food was good that wasn’t burned which is the only good thing I can say. The appearance of the restaurant is questionable and the dead fish in the dirty tanks at the entrance should have made us turn around and leave! After we left we found out the from 10:00 pm – 2:00 am you get 20% off of your bill…..guess what…..we didn’t receive that either! This was the most uncomfortable eating experience I have ever had. I don’t understand the staring for the entire 45 minutes we were there! We will never go back to this place!
