DONT DO IT!! Worst experience Ive ever had with a bakery. No customer service whatsoever!Had 17 friends and family members flying to Vegas to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday and ordered a beautiful cake for the main birthday dinner event. Paid ~$45 extra to have the cake delivered to the VooDoo Steakhouse, located on the 50th floor of the Rio hotel. CAKE WAS NEVER DELIVERED. Imagine the disappointment on my daughters face when come dessert time the only thing that was brought out was a scoop of chocolate mousse! The worst part of the ordeal was dealing with Kyra at Pastry Palace the next morning (bakery was closed by the time we realized they didnt deliver the cake). I went there in person, and all she offered was a litany of excuses they did deliver it, the chef must have lost it; they bellhop at the Rio was supposed to deliver it for them; my daughter called to say she was going to pick it up herself instead of having it delivered. Wow! In the end, after running around on my own trying to figure out what happened (because Kyra was too busy playing the blame game to offer any customer service), the hotel reservation manager found the cake stuffed in a staff/floral refrigerator amid random bags, bottles and blooms. Had to fight with Kyra to get my money refunded ended up going through my bank instead given her stubbornness to compensate me in a timely manner.
VERY BAD CAKE. THE TIRAMISU WAS THE WORST!!! THE CREME PART INSIDE WAS FROZEN!!! BAD AFYERTASTE.

Impressed. My fiance and I are getting married in Vegas, so we’re here for a visit and are trying out the different bakeries that we are considering for our wedding cake. So far Pastry Palace has the lead; they have had the best tasting vanilla cake of the places we’ve tried so far and I absolutely love the fact that their butter cream is made with REAL butter. We all got different menu items (chocolate mousse cup, cream horn, vanilla cupcake) and all three were delicious. They’re on our bakery short-list for sure.
Consistently amazing! I need to try one of their cakes!14 Feb, 2010NEOPOLITANS & ECLAIRS. Melt in your mouth! i’ve found my gUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY PLEASURE in the unlikely spot of crazy town west sahara! these are the best goodies i’ve ever had in vegas, maybe ever. the mom (co owner of the bakery) HANDMADE my neopolitans as she packed them into my box, and let me tell you, i’ve never been more in-love with a baked goody. KEEP THIS PLACE OPEN AND LET THEIR GOODIES MELT IN YOUR MOUTH!!!!24 Jan, 2010I need to add…. I went there again tonight with a friend, and the family who owns this place is DARLING. they are so sweet! once again the eclairs are out of this world and the nepoleons are absolutely fabulous. wasn’t crazy about the cannoli, but everything is amazingly good and they are so inexpensive! they do fabulous cakes too. love this place!!! <323 Jan, 2010Sahara bakery. Ok- so there’s not a lot of options! but i love their eclairs! and the baklava and cannolis are pretty decent too! and the mousse. can’t go wrong for $2 baked goodies :~)
