We began with an order of Vietnamese egg rolls served with Romaine leaves and a light fish sauce that were crunchy and flavorful. For entrees my wife and I each ordered bowls of the highly acclaimed spicy chicken curry soup. The soup was spicy as advertised and loaded with both noodles and bone in chicken, but we felt it would have been better with a more generous helping of coconut milk.
Pho Annie is a local owned restaurant serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Great service and consistent quality of their cuisine. Great spot for the causal diner or to bring a group and be as loud as you want. The restaurant does get noisy but so what right people are enjoying themselves eating great food.
I’ve always enjoyed my visits to Pho Annie. The drive-thru has not been active lately and there’s usually car parked blocking the way. Not sure if that’s supposed to be a permanent thing or not, but I thought it was worth noting. So… dine-in it is. The atmosphere is nothing too fancy. It’s definitely a casual place. The service has always been great and you can get in and out of there rather quickly, if you are in a rush. I usually order the same two things, so that’s all I can vouch for, but I do recommend the Rare Beef Pho and the Spring Rolls. Pretty run of the mill things to order at a Vietnamese restaurant but at least you know they are good. Enjoy! 🙂
Well. Authentic to say the least. Loved the food. Had their spicy pho. Well. Im not used to the ingredients like that and the textures. Im Coming back for sure. My personal taste is just what inhibits me haha. Egg rolls were killer and crunchy noodles.
