LOVED IT!!!. R Steak and Seafood is a great little place at the end of the strip. I went twice during my trip there (feb. 2014). The happy hour specials are worth it!! I had mussels, mac n cheese, sliders, and the Parmesan fries…All great!! And the mussels were $6.00 and were a complete meal themselves!! I also had the prime rib and it was good. I’m not a steak eater and it was tender and flavorful. It was cooked that way I liked it and it came with a salad and a baked potato. The 12oz was more than enough for me. Especially since I went during happy hours!! I suggest stopping by this place!!

They brought out my salad before the appetizers and forgot the dressing on the salad…. Steak was good, they need to get their service dialed in. Relatively inexpensive for Vegas.

$150 comped meal. On our second visit, we started off by ordering a bottle of Liberty School cabernet sauvignon. For appetizers we shared orders of crispy battered calamari and miso butter seared scallops. The calamari were sliced lengthwise into wide strips that were both tough and flavorless. We faired better with the scallops which were previously frozen but very good. For entrees we each ordered 6 ounce filet mignons and requested that they be prepared medium rare, but were actually served closer to medium. Our sides of grilled pencil asparagus had little discernable flavor and the garlic mashed potatoes were garlic-lite. We also shared a (not) warm bacon salad that included onions, hard boiled egg and mushrooms. We have had similar salads many times and this one comes up short in the flavor department. We concluded this feast by each ordering, no sharing thank you, crme brulees with berries and Godiva chocolate hazelnut coffees (French blend coffee, Godiva chocolate and Frangelico liqueurs topped with whipped cream). Both were very good though the coffee should have been hotter. I used a $150 comp that I won in an American Casino Guide contest against the bill, much to the amazement of our server, that came in at precisely $150. That is what is called pre planning.12 Apr, 2012Hidden gem. This is a relatively new restaurant located in the space occupied for many years by Kristofer’s. The restaurant is fairly casual though we were seated by a maitre d. We shared a warm bacon and spinach salad. Ann ordered the grilled salmon steak entre which was bountiful and very moist. Mine was a mammoth double, more likely a triple, cut pork chop with an apple cranberry sauce. We also shared a bowl of roasted cream corn. Prices were moderate for a Strip restaurant of this quality.12 Apr, 2012Easy on packetbook. This is a relatively new restaurant located in the space occupied for many years by Kristofer’s. We entered the Riveria via Paradise road and were able to enter without winding our way around and through the casino. The restaurant is fairly casual though we were seated by a maitre d.
