Wo Fat has great food, big portion at a good price with friendly service, it’s my go to place for chinese food. They are open until 9:30pm every night.
This average looking Chinese Restaurant offers regular Chinese Dishes and unique Hawaiian Chinese Food you won’t find anywhere else. We started with the crispy kau kau chee (crispy pork dumplings) they were very meaty and fried to a bubbly light crisp. A recommended dish is called cold ginger chicken in onion sauce. If you are ok with removing the skin and bones you will be rewarded with a delicious moist flavorful chicken. Surprisingly this dish wasn’t cold and isn’t overly seasoned with ginger, garlic or onion it just really delicious. The portion that they gave me was extremely large and I took enough home for two dinners. Another unique dish I tried were the cake noodles. Cake noodles cost $1.25 extra and you add them on to another dish. The server suggest something with chicken. I had a hard time understanding her so all I know is that I got really delicious flavorful chunks of dark meat chicken in sauce over the cake noodles. The cake noodles look similar to ramen but have much more flavor like wheat because they are served with crisp ends. My husband ordered the Szechuan Shrimp. The Shrimp were prepared well and this dish was fiery hot as should be. Service was efficient.
Yum. I agree…this is the Chinese restaurant that has more of the Hawaiian influence…so natives of Hawaii will like the food here.My only problem is their Kau Yuk can tend to be dry or chewy…but I’m not going to really complain too much…it seems to be the only Chinese restaurant in Vegas that serves Kau Yuk!!!
Wo fat going make us mo fat..lol. I think wo fat is da bomb!! i live up here in the states and let me tell you, there food is as close as you going get to hawaii style chinese food….ummmm soooo ono!!!
Wo Fat is the tastiest. Wo Fat’s food is the tastiest Chinese food in Las Vegas to me. They come from Hawaii so they know how to make their food taste just as good as Hawaii’s. Plus they actually have Chinese people cooking here, not Mexicans. I’m not saying that Mexicans can’t cook Chinese food, but most Mexicans don’t know what authentic Chinese food taste like.
Hawaiian Chinese Food. A very small dive diner off E DI & sandhill.Mostly boothes along the walls but a few tables too.Fast & friendly service.Great lunch & dinner specials.I got for $9.99-egg rolls, sweet pork, won tons, won ton soup, pork fried rice & sweet & sour chicken.LOTS of food for 1 person. Everything is good. However, Had some beef chow mein too-NOT so good, noodles are thick & tasteless, beef was ick.Next time definitely takeout.
