Inexcusably bad service, quality. Being locals, we recently went to Marche Bacchus for a late lunch. We brought a $25 restaurant.com coupon and asked the waiter about the terms of the coupon, as it did NOT specify dinner only like our other coupon for Marche Bacchus. After taking the coupon to the manager, he returned and informed us that they would honor it, providing we met the only stipulated requirement, which was to order two entrees. Thus, we ordered two entrees and a appetizer, along with two drinks, only to discover (AFTER they brought the check) that the owner refused to accept the coupon (claiming that we must have tampered with it somehow, even though we had just printed it directly from the restaurant.com site that same day). To add insult to injury, the food (except for the excellent escargot) was bland and mediocre at best, and the beef was overcooked (medium means pink in the middle fellas). Finally, after much ado, the manager agreed to comp us for half ($12) of the $25 face value of our coupon. Long story short, the owner is arrogant and completely lacking in integrity…he’d rather accuse his patrons of tampering than to acknowledge his own mistake and honor the terms clearly stipulated on restaurant.com certificate. Oh, and he has since pulled that coupon off the site, which means he knows it was there, and whether it was his fault or restaurant.com’s, he should have honored it. Frankly, we get far better service from Garfield’s right next door, and the food is infinitely better. Come to think of it, diners and foodies would be far happier with the service and quality of Chili’s at Rainbow and Lake Mead. In either case, I would NEVER recommend Marche Bacchus, nor do we plan to return, even though it’s literally walking distance from our home.

Charred Octopus!!!!. Recently visited Las Vegas and found Marche Bacchus online as I was searching for a wine shop in Summerlin area (excellent wine shop too, BTW). I overheard the chef tell a customer that the charred octopus was excellent. Naturally, I ordered it. This dish was one of the single best things that I have ever eaten. It is so easy to destroy octopus (rubbery), but that wasn’t the case here. It was creamy, melt-in-your mouth. It was so excellent, that I returned the next day, on my way back home, and enjoyed it again. My dining companion had the sea scallops, which were delicious, although we removed the grapefruit compote from them as we thought it a bit too much acid on these perfectly prepared scallops. Anyway, I will always stop here for good eats when I visit again. I am sad I didn’t take a picture of the octopus dish to accompany this review, because the presentation was beautiful.

Flavio Girlfriend.. Hi guys. Had a chance to visit this place a few months ago. Didn’t quite know what was going on but there were a bunch of cameras around. Saw a bunch of 6th grade actors in the restaurant that day. Including a guy named Flavio…I knew this wasn’t his name but he insisted it was. I did not know what was going on but the food was terrible. I had a steak and potatoes. Not done the way I liked it and again there was a large amount of security cameras around. The place is sketchy and the staff is fake.

A native recommended this restaurant & they know the best in Vegas. Truly a wonderful break from the standard eateries! Water views and great wait staff makes this one of our favorites outside of the main city.

Wonderful spot for quaint outdoor dining. Recently tried one of their lunch specials; chilled carrot soup with lobster and the carmalized onion mushroom tart. Both were delicious and definite must have again! Friendly service, lovely food and great atmosphere.

Lakeside Splendor. Excellent food, great view, definitely a treck from the strip, but well worth it.

Great view, horrible service, overpriced food. Horrible service, poor management and overpriced food. Most food is mediocre with a few well-done. Defintiely do NOT go if you are vegetarian. Very rude management.
