Mothra Says….Woods and Lake. After a lovely late lunch at Beach House, K and I wanted an after lunch cocktail (hey! We are on vacation.) and so we pulled in to ZCL on the south side of Nevada Lake Tahoe. We perused the gift shop for trinkets and sat at the bar for a cocktail. Guess what the Moth man had? Yep, a Stoli martini up with a lemon twist and a Kim Crawford Sav Blanc for K. Two really nice drinks on a mild Sept afternoon moving to the outside deck of the restaurant.No, not inexpensive drinks, 2 quality drinks at $23.00, but a nice atmosphere with pleasant servers. Lagging service, amazing fish and chips! Poached salmon salad was disappointing, aoli too thick and contained bits of fish rather than a decent sized chunks
Overlooks lake Tahoe and food pretty good. Good selection for all tastes ,kid friendly. Take a walk to the lake and hang out for a while.
Good food lousy service. I stopped in for lunch at 1pm on a Monday. The restaurant was very busy and only 1 poor waitress on duty. She was so busy she never came to see hoe my food was (was 30 minutes from when I sat down until the food came out!) and never refilled my soda. She was apologetic but they need more wait staff!
