Poorly trained service and not great food and Tahoe pricing. The lack of professional service here is the main thing going on at Zephyr Cove Lodge. Sure it’s seasonal work, but you hire eastern Euro summer help and the English is not so good, that’s what you get. Kids who have no stake in the success of the business, so not willing to put forth the best effort, just here for the summer anyway! Besides the slow and clumsy service, the food is nothing to get excited over, and if I’m at Lake Tahoe dining, I wanna be excited over my dining experience. You’ll get fed here, but that’s about all.
