Bet on a sure thing!. This may have been posted in August…but I was in Las Vegas before I found this site. Sorry for the tardiness of the review!That being said, the next time I’m in Vegas, the best bet you can make is to have a bite at Cafe Cortez! Myself and my companion stopped in for lunch after a hard morning of gambling in the casino at El Cortez, and were treated to one of the best meals we had on that trip! Our server recommended that I try the turkey club sandwich (her personal favourite) and I was NOT disappointed. I couldn’t even FINISH the thing! But I sure tried!! 😀 With us coming in just at the tail end of the lunch rush, our server (I cannot for the life of me remember her name, I’m sorry!) had a bit of time and gave us a bit of the history of the hotel and East Fremont Street. The service was AWESOME, the price was more than fair (given that guest services gives you a coupon for a discount when you sign up for the casino club card) and I would be more than willing to go back again! And again…and again!
Great place for lunch!. Wow, everyone is so friendly at the Cafe Cortez. The food is very good, reasonably priced and the service is excellent. The food selection for lunch & breakfast is impressive. We have eaten there numerous times and have never had a complaint. Give it a try and enjoy the options!

It was the last Privately held Casino. Jackie was the chap who got Wynn started or the Mirage, etc most of the strip wouldn’t have been there today.otherwise..Ohhh well, life goes on) It has a less diry look, but more polish cleaned and clear look with the explosion of light and they’ve added tv. Bus service is 1000% improved with fast service and quick refill on your drinks. Terrifc ladies to embrace you briefly with warm befores taking the order that will please both your wallet and pallet. You get good bang for your buck there. The food quality and portions are very good for you pay.
