On entering this small restaurant we directed to a small table and provided menus along with house made chips and fresh salsa. We started off with glasses of a delicious red sangria with a pronounced flavor of cinnamon and fresh fruit that had must have been refrigerate for some time excellent. This was followed by a shared sandia citron salad (watermelon, caramelized pepitas, mixed greens and teardrop tomatoes with a citrus dressing) that proved to be refreshing. My wife chose pollo enchiladas for an entree braised seasoned pulled chicken with a roasted garlic, creamy tomatillo sauce accompanied by Mexican rice and frioles. I went vegetarian with the bistro chile relleno a small roasted poblano pepper filled with butternut squash, onion, and potato that shared the plate with charro beans and Mexican rice. Both dishes proved to be very good

Real authentic Mexican food. Wife is very fussy and loved their shrimp. She said it was as good as what we got in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I had a burrito that was out of this world. Jose the waiter is a great young man. He treated us like family. We will go here anytime we’re in the mood for Mexican food. The establisment was very clean, and the food presentation was outstanding!

El sombrero. This place has certainly changed. No Mexican deco what so ever. I’m not real sure what the theme was to represent. Prices are high for a lunch. No lunch menu with scant items on the menu to order. Food was okay. Probably will not be back for sometime.

A nice quiet restaurant in a nice quiet place. Something Las Vegas really needs. Good food and the staff was friendly and genuinely interested in being there. I will come back.

Missing the basic. Missed the cheese enchiladas and the sopapillas liked the guacamole dip a totally different place

UGH. Cute little place with terrible expensive food. Huevos Rancheros plate cost $10 with uncooked beans and dark red cold pasty rice. Maybe new owner, sure went downhill from some years ago.

Love this neighborhood joint! No liquor but the Margarita Wine hits the spot. Beer & wine. All the usual menu items but authentic not an Americanized version. Great fresh food.
