A wonderful feel of an old Irish tavern. Super awesome fries and I tried French onion soup and burger! Very nice lively music on weekends. Bet you can…

Waitress recommended the ribs, they ended up being all fat…no meat. Paid the tab, let her know, but she was more interested in getting us out the door at 9 pm on a Sunday night. Went to McDonald’s.
Quiet lunch but a good health beer selection and the Veggie Burger with avacado was really pretty good
Soup and chicken sandwich were both good. Friendly staff and nice outdoor seating area.
The place seems kind of small, so I’m sure it gets fairly full. But we came here for lunch on a weekday, so it wasn’t that busy. We both ordered the fish and chips. It came with 4 pieces of fish, which were small but thick and delicious. The tartar sauce was also very good! It came with fries and cole slaw. The staff was really friendly and the food came quickly. This place is great, but try to come here when it’s not busy for the best experience.
Hennessey’s Rocks!. The place is great for the Rockabilly/pub crowd and especially fun out on the patio or upstairs at LVCS for a show. The music is always great and the vibe is always fun. The food at Mickie Finnz (Hennessey’s sister bar) right next door is great. The calamari is to die for and the drinks are always cold and refreshing. More of a fun atmosphere than fine dining for sure!
Irish Pub My Granny’s Left Foot. I must correct the following review. To the credit of the ownership of Hennessey’s, they responded to my comments and advised me that we had not visited the Pub, but, in fact, had visited their ‘country’ venue on the second floor by mistake. I don’t know how we didn’t see the entrance for the Pub, but the four of us didn’t. I will take the owner’s assertion as gospel and will revise my review to address the venue on the second floor of the location. The comments regarding the live entertainment still apply – it was anything but. Again, my appologies to the Pub. I do not post comments unless I find something worth noting – either good or bad. I wish we werestill in Las Vegas so we could visit the pub and ebjoy it.Last night (1/12/2010) we visited Hennessey’s expecting to have an evening of good pub food and Irish music. What we got was anything but that. First, the live entertainment was only half correct – the band was ‘live’ but far from being entertaining. Do not believe the establishment’s website that depicts an Irish Pub!!The first thing that lets you know this place is not an Irish Pub is the Mechanical Bull and riding area. The second problem was the ‘live’ entertainment was anything but the music you would expect to find in an Irish Pub – not sure what its’ gendre is as it was so loud and so badly performed it sounded like a new TV reality show – the Absolute Worst Of American Idol.If you are looking for an Irish Pub – Run Do Not Walk To Any Other Place In Town!To call this place an Irish Pub in an insult to every true Irishman!13 Jan, 2010Grounds For False Advertising.
