Expensive!. Dinner for 1 and my bill was $50. I think it is very expensive. Tandoori was too dry, naan was salty. little beer cost me $8 whopping bucks! Now the good side; food is okay. Better than some other Indian restaurants. Nice inside. Soft pleasurable Indian instrumental music. Non intrusive server. I had a good time. If you go over there be prepared go deep in the pocket.

Avg food, large price. The total for two dinners, no drinks, came to $50 (which I consider very expensive for Indian food). The food was OK. I have had better, I have had worse. They did not ask us how spicy we wanted it. Service was fast (only three other tables had people when we entered).

Waste of Money; Not worth even half the price. I am an Indian and I have been to so many Indian restaurants before that I have stopped counting. But, let me be absolutely clear, this was the worst I have seen in my life. The dinner is over expensive (actually super expensive). The counter-argument could be the convenient position of the restaurant but that does not hold because there is a way nicer and inexpensive (half price) restaurant inside Riviera hotel. The food here is full of grease and it took half of a soap to wash my hand. I feel the people are not very honest there. They charged me extra for naan and rice although it is supposed to be included in the dinner. Overall, if you have too much money and want to get rid of some of it, go there. Otherwise, you have way better options on your hand. Trust Me!!!!!!

We order 3 items. 2 were having Bad smell. They had to re make and they accepted curry and Veg biriyani we order were bad. They were still serving Biriyani to other guest. Owner really did not felt sorry and was bleming chef. We hope we do not suffer from food poisoing. We do not reccomand.

Fine. We went here for dinner last weekend. We had been once before many years ago and liked it quite a bit, but never got around to coming back. We happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to give it another try. As we were entering, the Mayor was exiting. He shook our hands, and I asked him how his meal was. He said it’s always excellent, so I’m guessing he’s a regular. The main thing I remember from our previous visit to India Oven is how good the naan was. The naan was pretty good this time, but not quite as good as I remembered it. It was large and looked like elephant ears. It was a little burnt on the bottom. However, I liked that better than the naan I’ve recently had at other places which has tended to be underdone. For our entrees we got the lamb korma and paneer tikka masala. I liked the lamb korma quite a bit. It had large pieces of tender lamb and a tasty sauce. The paneer tika masala was good but not particularly memorable. My wife had the mango lassi. She said it was good, and she’s pretty picky about her mango lassi. At the beginning of our meal, they gave us papadum with mint and tamarind chutneys. The papadum was good but nothing special. I wasn’t crazy about the mint chutney. It was okay, but I’ve had much better. I’m not a fan of tamarind chutney in general, so I’m not going to comment on that. We also asked for an order of the assorted pickles which they served with the papadum and gave it to us free. It was interesting but super salty. It reminded me of Mexican salted prunes. I’m glad I tried it, but I don’t think I’d try it again. We split some raita which was pretty decent. Overall, I enjoyed the meal, but I probably won’t be back for awhile as there are other Indian restaurants in town that I prefer.
