Great place, great price , quality food and large quantities! Loved this simple and neat place.. went there after a tired day at Vegas- food came a little slow – but was worth it! Ordered hot sauce chicken, pad Thai and chicken noodles. Loved the hot sauce chicken entree and pad Thai. Chicken noodles were also yummy!
Did not live up to expectations. Tried this place since I saw it had 4stars on the yelp review. My family is from Laos, so I have a good idea of what the food should taste like. We ordered the seafood Tom kha soup, beef salad and red curry. Every dish came out extremely salty. The flavour seemed right but the salt overpowered the dishes that I found it barely edible. Will not be returning.
I ve been coming to Ocha for about 2 yrs…we found late one night on our first trip to Las Vegas in 2010…now that we live here once a month or more…food is really good…prices are good too.
Family Food. The staff are more enthusiastic than the food and the location (which will change in October 2012). The menu is small and the choices are few outside of the recurrent theme of sauce/noodle/protein. Not the place for vegetable lovers nor seafood eaters either. Situated next to the end of the Casino Row on the strip, next to severel motel-wedding chapels, the place was a complete dive right down to the chipped tables and church basement chairs. The box fan moved the heat around and the homeless guy at the front door was a good ambassador. Not worth the $20 cab ride there. Though I did get to see the owner’s kids watch the first Harry Potter on a bootleg dvd on an old tube tv in the corner of the room which serves as the restaurant. I forgot how young they all were.
One of the best thai restaurants I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot. Taste exploshion, great price, bad decore, but who cares when it tastes so good, 9 out of 10!
Hot hot hot!. 1980’s decor but great food. Inexpensive. Seems to be a chinese locals place. Out of 30 people I’m the only white guy. Freindly service! Will be returning. Food so spicy I can see thru time.
Ocha is great. My girlfriend introduced my to the great Thai place, and now we eat there about every other week. Service is super fast, and the food is really good. Try the beef salad and chicken fried rice ( one order should feed up to 2 people).
