First thing I noticed – this is located in a happening neighbourhood. Lots of Mexican restaurants here. It’s down to earth and has a no BS feeling. Come here in the day time if you don’t feel comfortable roaming around at night outside the safety of the strip. There is no longer a security guard as compared to the last location. I see cops eating beside me so this is as safe as it gets. I am not sure why there was a security guard before but I guess it’s not for me to find out :DThe food here is insanely cheap, good, and authentic. No, I’ve never been to Mexico for some real local food but I think this has got to be the closest to it I can get. I grew up on Taco Bell crap and this is anything but. The cow brain, tongue, tripe, etc option speaks volumes. The carne asada fries with creamy avocado, spicy meats, and cheese… oh my goodness. This place leaves me speechless every time I try to describe it to my friends. The half order of carne asada fries would be considered a full order in Canada – should something like this exist, that is. The value was just incredible! I am pleased to announce that the original location north of the strip has re-opened! I liked that location better because it was a decently short walk north of the Wynn hotel. I still enjoyed my stay here and it opened my eyes to an area off of the strip. My advice? Come to this location in the day time and go to the other strip location at night time. That should have your brunch and supper covered. 😀

I’ve read a couple of reviews on the site about this place and they were all positive. Well here’s is another positive review. Went in and the line was long. However, the wait wasn’t and I was surprised how quick I was placing my order. Don’t let the line intimidate you. Priced reasonably cheap. I ordered the carne asada tacos and they were very favorable. The carne asada was cooked right there in front of me you see everything prepared. The meat was tender and the cilantro in the guacamole was perfect. I mean the taco was in one piece while I was eating it. The Cilantros in the onions didn’t even fall out. Is by far is the go-to place to eat tacos on the strip.

One day a few months ago I was in San Diego where a friend took me to tacos el gordo. Little did I know that was the day my life would change. On the way back home I passed through Vegas and this one was just as good. Best tacos ever. Ever. Really get the the pork. The amazing stuff on the spit where the scary guy with the machete is. He is like the gatekeeper to heaven and all you need is the 2 dollars and he will accept you. I actually cried when the group I was with said we didn’t have time to stop here yesterday when we were passing through Vegas. Go. You won’t regret it.

This is my ideal place. Out of the way, but crazy amazing and cheap. The flavors are out of this world. We at at a high end steakhouse and all I could think of when I paid the $400 bill was how many tacos I could of eaten! I’m not too adventurous as far as trying the brains etc, but the regular spicy pork and steak was amazing. The place is clean, fast. If you tip the guys on the cook line, they are very appreciative.

Roadkill Tacos. Nothing. The food is terrible. Tastes like road kill. Place is dirty and lines are way to long for a little taco.

Great Tacos. The tacos there are so good. Usually, when going to a real Mexican food place, you get small tacos with basically meat and maybe some cilantro. I went in there recently after hearing how good the tacos were. I ordered three carne asada (steak) tacos. When i got them home, i was pleasantly surprised to find great tasting guacamole on them as well as some cilantro and onions. Wow it was a great eating experience. It’s my new favorite taco shop, where before that, it was Roberto’s.
