Service was pretty bad. For 6:30 on a Thursday. Was in yesterday and it was busier and the service was 100 times better. The breakfast is normally great but was a little dry this time. Couldn’t get the waitress attention to ask for a little more gravy. Hope she is more attentive when she has her baby.
This was a wonderful experience for a late Saturday breakfast. My beautiful one and I decided to go to the Black Bear Dinner because we heard nothing but great things about the food and service. Second, it’s very close to where I live. She had the mild sausage patties with hash browns and the fried eggs. Everything was cooked just right and full of flavor. I had the Portuguese Linguica Sausage which was very favorable and juicy and suckulent. My potatoes when cooked to perfection not soggy eggs were perfect. Great family atmosphere very quaint and cozy decor service and staff are great. Only reason not a 5 is because our waitress forgot our forks. LOL!
Great breakfast! As good as Egg and I or Cracked Egg, and about 25% less. Patty sausage was a nice surprise, and the staff was wonderful. Nice find, will return.

Be Here Now. Almost every trip that I have been to Vegas somehow ends up here one way or another. I love their breakfasts. The food is plentiful and the ingredients are always fresh. I had lunch on my latest go round. The fried chicken to be exact. The fried chicken was four pieces, the leg and wing being quite scrawny, but that was fine, since I would have been too full to eat all of it if they were much bigger. I had steamed vegetables (broccoli and zucchini) as a side along with fries. The vegetables needed a little more salt, but I was satisfied with their freshness. My friend had the meatloaf which he thoroughly enjoyed.Service was quite good and the owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met in the restaurant industry. He really cares about his clientele. You can tell as he thanks each person individually as they leave Black Bear. I luv this place! I will make sure I stop each time I’m in Vegas!!!
Good comfort food. Service was attentive and friendly. Ribs had been left in the steamer too long. Texture went from shoe leather to mush. Way too much BBQ sauce! Fish and chips was good.
Good ole’ restaurant. This place has really good food. We were pleased with the variety and the portions provided were pretty big. I ordered the volcano. Three pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. I couldn’t eat it all, in fact I only had 1 piece of bacon and 1 sausage and about 75% of my granola 7 grain pancakes.Our server was on her toes and really husstles through this place. It was early Monday morning and was the only server at the time. I think her name was Angela. Thanks Angela, great job!!
