Horrible food with insane owner. We went there tonight, before going we checked the time nd it said it is open till 10 pm. we got there 10 after 9. the owner, which was an old, mean and disgusting man, very rudely told us the restaurant is closed, when we objected very respectfully, he told us he wants to go home because he has Pneumonia and his stomach hurts and he wants to go home. we fin ally got seated, with a lot pressure to order quick and leave, he still came to our table kept the rude conversation, he also was very mean to waiter. the food was horrible, the rice was little and very old, salmon was bland and no taste at all. Please do not waste your money, nor your time to go this disgusting restaurant.

Bad, Very Bad!. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I visited this restaurant first when it was located in Shalimar hotel, north of strip. Did not like it! It has moved several times since (over 20 years has passed) I have visited this place in several other occasions,(out of options for Persian food in Vegas). My last visit was the worst by far. Bad, I mean BAD food! horrible service and relatively ripped off! Paid Almost $90 for two ( 2 Chelo Kabab with soda and one side). 80% of my food was untouched when Habib came to take the dishes and he never asked why I didn’t eat my food! Which means he knows what he is serving you! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!
I had lamb, it was lovely, Mr Habib has created a wonderful space where people can come together. I really liked the store, I used to work in a similar store in the english market in cork, ireland, these products are familiar to me.
Ate there once a long time ago and the food was OK. However, the owner is not at all friendly or accommodating. He turned away our party of 25 even though we had reservations. This was at 7:00 on a Saturday night and there were only 4 tables with patrons. The entire place was empty but he said he didn’t have the staff to accommodate us. Ridiculous! Won’t ever go again.

Going to Habib’s is always a treat for me. Habib makes you comfortable and can answer any questions about the foods in his restaurant and in the Persian store next door.We have never had a bad meal there. Love the guy. Great fun to talk with and you never know who may be in there eating.
