This is hands down one of the best FUSION sushi places I have been. The quality of ingredients, creativity in flavours and attention to detail made for a great meal. Even from a price standpoint, there is huge value here. Service was exceptional. Only reason for not a 5 was ambiance was a touch on the non-intimate due to the fact that this probably seats 40. Don’t miss this one!
This highly regarded restaurant did not disappoint. We ordered crispy Brussel sprouts (lemon chili, mint and puffed rice), karaage (fried chicken, jalapeno, basil and onion), crunchy calamari (spinach, mango, cashews, candied ginger, and jalapeno vinaigrette) and tea brined ribs (citrus-honey-tea glaze and sesame seeds). A complimentary plate of Asian pear, apples and lemon oil between courses proved to be refreshing while a pair of white chocolate ganaches concluded the meal. Each dish was skillfully prepared using the freshest of ingredients and beautifully plated with commensurate service. A shoutout is extended to the Brussel sprouts and calamari for being the best in class. Yonaka is included as one of the 50 Essential Restaurants in the 2016 edition of Eating Las Vegas.

2nd Place Japanese. Check out Kabuto just a bit better more elegant. Not a place for sushi bar. Both place’s tasting menu was the way to go. 6 course 3 cold 3 hot 1 desert.
Very high quality food, great service. For $60 we got 3 dishes each, everyone of them was terrific, husband really liked hot rock beef. Very nice place!
Get off the strip and come to this Japanese. My hubby and I along with 2 friends went off strip to Yonaka and enjoyed it enormously. The venue although out if town is beautifully fitted with great ambience, staff are very friendly. We especially enjoyed the Salmon and orange as well as the grilled edamame, tempura vegetables, baby tako, fried chicken. A highlight for me was nigiri special of foie gras, simply divine!!!Hubby and I are returning to Vegas in July and this one place we will be returning to.
Scrupulous modern tapas. Yonaka takes a modern turn in Japanese food dinning from it’s food presentation and unique tastes to the astheics of the restaurant. I love the tapas style approach; it’s the best way to enjoy all the chef’s unique concoctions! I ordered the Sake Orenji and the grilled edamame, which were very good. However, my favorite dish is the Hamachi Kama. All I can say about that yellowtail collar is freakin delicious! The staff is very friendly and attentive which made my dinning experience even better. I will definitely be going there again. Thank you!
