Buffalo Chicken Pizza. That is what you should order. If you have a high tolerance for spicy foods, don’t hold back, order it wild. If not, medium/mild is a good alternative. I must admit that when I first experienced this pizza, I was put off by the lettuce topping. Well, after a pizza or two, this has developed into my favorite pizza topping. I go to places, survey the manu for this collection of toppings and then try it out. None have compared to Balboa. Calamari is out of this world too. Wings are good, probably 8 out of 10. Fries can be hit and miss. The goat cheese pizza is great, along with the caprese. Philly cheesesteak is ok.
Re-selling Totinos. First time vist, had the lunch salad & sausage pizza. Honestly the pizza looked and tasted like it came out of a box of frozen Totinos pizza. It was wasy over cooked and the sausage tasted somewhat like hamburger and the cheddar did not help. My associate had a pepperoni and said it was off as well. Seemed like a good place , but the personal pizzas did not impress me. Starving and iI only ate 2 of the 4 pieces.
I’ve been there with friends & family on Saturday nights after service @ Central Christian Church & both timed we enjoyed a Cold Draft, Excellent Food that came out Fast & Hot as well as Great Service !! There r a limited amount of places you can take the whole family & still have an Adult Atmosphere !!
Former Employee. I used to work at Balboa’s and I still go back there for the food. Their pizza’s are the perfect size, I have 3 pieces and save the rest for later. Try your favorite pizza with the garlic cream sauce instead of traditional tomato sauce for extra flavor!
Chopped chicken salad is the best! Pizza is delicious!
