The experience was unbeatable. We were treated very nicely by the staff…It was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and we could not have picked a nicer place to celebrate. Our waiter attended to our every need. The dcor is beautiful and very romantic…we ordered the 27 oz lobster tail for 2 and it was divine…the wine was amazing…the Steakhouse Salad was recommended by our waiter and we were not disappointed…it was delicious and enough for 2. Our whole experience was fantastic and we will visit again and again.
Upscale Steaks. If you’re committed to wearing your grubby tee shirt and ballcap wherever you go, it’s probably best to stick with the buffets. But for a more grown-up experience, this very fine steak house delivers. Prices are in line with a typical American steak house and the tab can escalate quickly given that everything, literally EVERYTHING, is a la carte. Many diners take a huge chunk off their bill by paying with their resort points (some slot machines pay out 12:1 on points, so keep an eye out for those). Service was cool and professional, not especially warm, but there were no missteps at any of the dinners I attended. While the grass-fed filet that I had was perfectly good ($46 for an 8 oz filet, plus $6 for a gorgonzola crust) and the side dishes were traditional and executed perfectly, the real standout, the things I’d return for right now if I could, were the appetizers. You could, and perhaps should, just make a meal out of these dramatic, creative, insanely fresh, and delicious starters. The oysters I had were sourced from beds off Long Island, and presented with tiny scoops of gin sorbet. My dozen disappeared far too quickly. High points also go to the bar, which does indeed craft some of the best martinis and classic cocktails that I’ve ever tasted. Which was a nice break from the sugary concoctions offered at the other resort bars. Acoustics in the modern dining room are muted but not stifling, permitting easy conversation wherever you are seated. Even the bar area has a relaxed and comfortable vibe.
Any place that doesn’t have locally brewed beers is not worth going to.
I thought the food was spectacular. They did not have their famous tomohawk steak and had to settle for the 22 oz bone in ribeye which was superb. The cream of corn is to die for. Had the root salad. It was unique and delicious. Would also recommend the lump meat crab appetizer. Was too full for desert.
To the twenty something’s whining about their baseball hats, please, please eat elsewhere. You are EXACTLY who we don’t want to sit next too while attempting to enjoy dinner in a classy restaurant. Thankfully, they removed beer pong from Green Valley as well, so we won’t have to deal with all the underage girls screeching at the top of their lungs for no apparent reason as well.As for the food and ambiance, very good food, but if you want medium, ask for medium well. Their cuts are very thick, and I think the chef’s get a bit impatient. My cuts have been undercooked on several occasions as well, until I learned to ask for it a tad more cooked. Martini’s are awesome, the ambiance is amazing, and the service is top notch. Prices are what one would expect for a place like this, but there are a couple of nice dishes you can order for two if you want to trim the bill a tad but still have a very nice entree. If you want a bit of a more traditional old style vegas, try Sonoma at Sunset Station. I’d give Hank’s the nod, but my wife actually prefers Sonoma a bit more. Won’t go wrong at either one though.
Overpriced and overrated!! Service is subpar. Been here twice and both times walked out wishing I went else where
Hanks steakhouse. We ordered the lamb chops and ribeye, medium on both. We had to send both items back because they were served medium rare. Second time around the ribeye was still bloody rare in the center. We had ordered Mac n cheese and filled up on that bread and martinis. Spent 225 and got free mashed potatoes for our ruined dinner. Outback can cook a steak med and slot less expensive. Won’t go back there again
