Our favorite Italian restaurant in Las Vegas. We have been eating at the Pasta Shop for over 10 years and have never had a bad meal. The lobster ravioli is fabulous!
Mediocore at best. I went to the Pasta Shop last night for dinner, and was so looking forward to having fresh made pasta. The restaurant is kind of funky with art all over the walls and it is very small. I had the linguine with clams and white sauce. The sauce was ok, and there weren’t many clams, but I had a real problem with the pasta itself. Fresh made pasta is generally a bit denser and has a distinct texture and flavor, the pasta here could have been straight from a box. I was utterly disappointed, and my trust in Mr. Zagat is definitely in question now. I decided to have some tiramisu for desert, mistake #2. The tiramisu was dry and required copious amounts of whipped cream to even resemble real tiramisu. The meal was overpriced for the quality. I probably would have been fine with my entree had I not seen all the good reviews for this resturant. I can say that I will not be returning to the Pasta Shop & Ristorante.
I have to say the pasta shop is my favorite restaurant in Vegas. Excellent food-fresh n healthy dishes. Great wine list is a plus!! Love Chef David he is so knowledgeable about healthy eating. Would recommend this place to everyone.
The pasta shop is overall a very good restaurant. I got the steamed muscles that were very good but needed more sauce and was somewhat overpriced. I also had spagetti w/ meatballs which was avg once again very little sauce but the meatballs were very good. Lastly, I had another dish that I forgot what it was called(sry) but it was amazing. It was flavorful, rich, and creamy. Lastly, they are very cheap on bread they will give u three very small peices of bread and it will take another 10 minutes until you get more. So all in all, good food, but somewhat overpriced and a little cheap with sauces and breads
Terrible. Was here one other time and had a bad experience, but I really belive in supporting small, local business……the second time was worse then the first. My husband and I ordered 2 very over priced pizzas. We asked our server to box up our remaining pizza and she came back with my food wrapped in plastic wrap…..plastic wrap, No plate, No box….PLASTIC WRAP! That won’t even leave my kitchen let alone a resturaunt. I voiced my disappointment to our waitress (who was extremely rude, I thought she might have been the owners wife with the way she carried herself) and she simply stated that she could fix it, but they usually save the boxes for the more expensive food. Are you freaking kidding me…..I just ordered 2 personal pan soze pizzas and paid $15 for one and $18 for the other…..was she really serious????!!!! to my dismay she was. I WILL NOT GO TO THIS PLACE OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!!! This owner needs to come down from his pedestal and realize he is not on the strip! (Hide)
Last night was the first time I visited this restaurant on a restricted gluten-free diet. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that they have rice pasta that can be substituted in any of their dishes. They also have a delicious ceasar salad (ask for no croutons) and of course huge pours of wine! I am one satisfied diner.
THE place to go for Italian food in Las Vegas. I’m a regular at the Shop and also purchase fresh pasta from them to make for family dinners. 2 thumbs up!
