Open elevated and spaced sushi/seafood restaurant. Oysters were on point, sushi was good and the fried oysters were worth going back for. The tuna sashimi did not disappoint either. If you need a high quality quick expensive meal in a resort casino then this place hits the mark.

05, May update —- My wife and I again shared a pound of Cajun peel and eat shrimp for lunch as well as a soft shell crab. The latter was very large, but suffered from way too much batter so there was little taste other than that provided by the dipping sauce. The shrimp were no doubt raised in a 3rd world country, but the accompanying sauce so darn good that you try not to think too much about it. -Dec, 2015 update — On our most recent visit, we shared the crab cake appetizer that is most notable for its zesty remoulade sauce. My wife chose as an entree a combination pan roast that included shrimp, crab and lobster in a finger lickin’ brandy, cream and tomato sauce. Meanwhile I ordered the cioppino a seafood stew boasting a medley of seafood that was diminished by its heavy, under seasoned tomato sauce. -Oct, 2015 update: We happened to be in the neighborhood, it happened to be lunch time, we happened to be hungry and I happened to have a pair of MyVegas rewards good for free appetizers does the word serendipity come to anyone else’s mind? We started with a pound of peel and eat Cajun shrimp that were spicy and finger lickin’ good. Our fried calamari proved to be very tender, oil free and delicious though the accompanying marinara added little to the equation. May, 2015 update: Good beginning. We started off with a glass of Chardonnay for my wife and shared a pound of Cajun shrimp that probably were 21-25 count (jumbo), a tad messy but so good. The atomic horseradish that accompanied our lump crab cocktail had a not so subtle kick to it that had me perspiring. Our third and last last appetizer was pan seared scallops with a lemon beurre blanc sauce. These were good, but would have benefited from an additional minute in the saute pan. Overall this was a very good, light meal for our first evening in Las Vegas.29 Oct, 2014Hit or miss. I redeemed a MyVegas reward for a free appetizer so on entering I asked our waitress if it could be used for a pound of Cajun style peel and eat shrimp. She asked one of the chefs who said no so I asked to see a manager who approved my request. The shrimp were in a spicy sauce that was so good I was tempted to lick the bowl. Showing a modicum of restraint, I used a spoon and finished nearly every drop. We also ordered a seafood Cobb salad that I told our server would be shared. When we received 2 enormous plates of salad, I told our waitress a mistake must have been made as we ordered only one, but she said the chef split it for us. OMG. The salad included tiny salad shrimp, iceberg lettuce, pasteurized crab, egg, avocado, blue cheese and a white vinaigrette dressing that was almost tasteless. It was much better after I requested a side of blue cheese dressing. Wednesdays are 12 point days for seniors so our entire meal cost us only 7,500 point plus gratuity.Several days later and with 2 MyVegas free appetizer coupons in hand, we returned for lunch. We again shared another pound of Cajun style peel and eat shrimp plus crab cakes with a chipotle tartar sauce and a few greens. The sauce for Cajun shrimp was a bit less concentrated than on our earlier visit, but the shrimp were otherwise just as good. Our crab cakes were of good size, but definitely benefited from the accompanying sauce.16 Feb, 2010Disappointing cioppino. 9/27/09 visit: we previously dined at this oyster bar and been very happy with our entrees. This evening we ordered the cioppino which came with a choice of rice (Ann) or pasta (me). We agreed the cioppino served at the Oyster Bar at Sunset Station was superior. 2 Forks out of a possible 5.

Oysters were great…. But our waitress at the bar was definitely not great!

The Ciopino was bland. I would not have it again.

Great oysters, so so service. Had some really great Fanny Bay oysters today, some rubbery mussels, and okay etouffee. Service was sub-standard though. Long wait between courses, even longer wait for the bill and then an even longer wait for change.
