DO NOT DINE WITH BLT STEAK BALLYS LAS VEGAS!!!! My husband and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary at BLT Steak Ballys Las Vegas on Saturday, June 24, 2017. We purchased a $115 voucher from Travel Zoo; which was worth $210 dining credit. Our total after using the voucher plus taxes and gratuity was $60. The next day we checked our bank and was charged two different amounts totaling $381.05. If you add this amount to how much we paid for the voucher, it cost us a grand total of $496.05 for dinner for two. We’ve contacted the restaurant twice and they claim to have only charged us $60. They’re only willing to refund the $60 to us. They blame it on our bank and told us to dispute with our bank. This overcharge should have never happened. No customer should have to deal with this issue. Now I’m left with calling my bank, the restaurant and travel zoo to resolve this issue. There are plenty other restaurants in Las Vegas. Do not dine in with BLT Steak Ballys Las Vegas or you may get overcharged like us.

This is the newest restaurant from Gordon Ramsay to open in Vegas and despite the reviews we went ahead and had dinner here. Wow.. it was pretty mediocre compared to his other restaurants. The service lacked lustre, there was no restroom in the restaurant, you need to walk into the casino and look for it. I would not recommend this place.

The waitstaff was very good and very attentive. Was told the wagyu steak was to die for, was just most incredible the flavor and was just out of this world. So I ordered it rare and it came back to me medium. And the flavor was nothing to brag about. This is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. ridiculous!!!!I was not very happy

Good but Pricey. All Steakhouses we have been to would include a veg or gratin dish but here it’s a separate deal. Other than that if we decide to split a dish it is being frowned upon. Overall good food and good helping.

Pretty Good, but pricey. Had dinner at BLT on a recent visit. It was not a busy night but server did not give us the attention expected for a Las Vegas steak house. My wife and I split a NY Strip cooked medium as well as au gratin potatoes and a Caesars salad. Everything was very good, we just felt it was pricey for the overall quality and experience. With all that said, we would return if we were staying close to Ballys, but there are too many good chop houses in town to spend cab fare to get there. Worth a try though IMO.

Las Vegas…very pleased with our experience. Ma Kettle and I were invited to the first night training session at BLT (May 5/14). This presentation was a testing of the service, drinks, and menu items, with a survey to be completed at meals end.. Every table was given an envelope containing limited choices from the menu, and our offering happened to be for a 16 oz 28 day dry aged NY strip, and a veal chop, with various sides. We began with freshly prepared cocktails (no mixes used here), which we thoroughly enjoyed, followed by a teaser of duck Pate and jelly in a glass jar, accompanied by five slices of toasted french stick. I’m not normally a fan of Pate, but this was exceptional. Next we received softball-basketball sized popovers, commonly known in Canada as Yorkshire Pudding, and we were instructed to break them apart and spread freshly churned butter over each piece, then lightly sprinkle sea salt on the surface. Yum. I cheated, and spread the remaining Pate on my popover. The meat was the crowning glory of our meal. My NY strip was perfectly seared to medium rare (hot pink centre), and Ma’s veal chop (bone in) was massive, quite thick, Both cuts of meat were very tender, perfectly seasoned, and so juicy. Ma found the topping on her veal chop a bit too thick and a tad over powering however, but it was easily removed. We received a plate of potato skins, but found them too tough to cut, difficult to chew, and just a little off-putting. We mentioned this to our waiter (Dave), who in turn passed our opinion along. The chef came out to hear our concerns, and later in the meal the manager came to our table to acknowledge receipt of our displeasure. Very thoughtful, very interested in feedback from non-paying patrons.Dessert, well, what can I say except that if we could bottle the sensations we experienced while savouring these treats, we would have a lingering smile on our faces for eternity. I had a Peanut Butter Chocolate Mousse, and Ma selfishly kept most of her Crepe Souffle with wonderful Passion Fruit sauce to herself. Fantastic way to end a meal, especially when accompanied by a double espresso with thick rich crema. I did not lick my plate, but only because Ma was watching.Service was great, staff were knowlegeable, and food was outstanding. Would we return as paying guests?? You betcha. Two Thumbs up, but discard the potato skins please. As an aside, we did not feel any stuffiness while eating at BLT. It was upscale dining in a casual way, just the way we like it. We don’t know what the prices will be, so check the menu first before settling in.
