We had a lovely dinner at this well known Italian restaurant situated at the Venetian in Las Vegas Strip. It is owned by the star chef of cake boss on TLC. Our expectations were met. The restaurant decor is elegant and not sophisticated. Staff were all friendly, welcoming, smiley and helpful. Even though it was packed but still the service was quick. As we were guided to our table which we reserved ahead of time we were seated and offered a complimentary in house freshly baked bread basket with virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar aside. The bread was superb (hot/soft), the olive oil and balsamic vinegar were clearly of premium quality. For mains we had the Veal Marsala which comes along with spaghetti in creamy sauce aside and the house made Ravioli rigatoni. Both plates were delicious. Portions were fulfilling which justifies the prices.
My boyfriend brought me here for a surprise birthday dinner last night. He had made a reservation ahead of time, and we got seated in a nice end booth. The atmosphere is warm, the lights and decor make you feel at home yet in a fancier space than just your typical Italian restaurant. We ordered calamari and meatballs as our starters. These came with fresh bread and oil/vinaigrette. I was impressed by the portion size and all of the flavours. For the main course he ordered the lasagna and I had the Chicken Parm. Both were delicious, and again the portion sizes were larger than expected. Because it was my birthday our waiter brought me a Cannoli with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. We also ordered the Nutella cake- and this was by far the best dessert Ive ever had. The cake was warm and moist, with a caramel and chocolate layer at the bottom- so delicious! I would love to come back here again sometime, this was one of the best meals Ive had in regard to service, taste, atmosphere and portion size!
