Fresh Strawberries on French toast was great; sweetened just right and the French toast was light and fluffy.Pacific scramer was full of flavor from plenty of lightly sauted mushrooms. Considerable effort was put into the coffee, the selection of bean complimented all the other breakfast offerings. Fast service and reasonable prices just top off the great atmosphere.
Dinner. My husband and I spent the day walking on Las Vegas Blvd where everything is expensive and we are staying at Hooters Hotel/Casino where we paid more for our late night snacks than our dinner at Coco’s tonight. Coco’s was only a hop, skip and a jump away from Hooters and they had great service and our dinner was very good. My husband had a bacon cheese burger and fries and I had their soup (chicken and wild rice) and salad. We also got slices of pie to take back to our hotel room. Berry and Coconut Cream. Very good and very inexpensive. Well worth it.
Brunch. This is a great place to stop for a quick brunch. The service is fast and it’s a great place to meet up with friends for a quick mid day get together.
Yummy – best breakfast away from the crowds Worth the taxi ride
Life saver. After getting no service at hooters -everybody was too busy looking kewl- we decided to take our business next door.Nice waiter, helpfull -since we’re are Dutch we don’t relate to big portions, he gave us the senior ones, at reduced prices. Great food, no muzak (hurray). If you want to get away from the noiz…. CoCo’s !!!
Nothing fancy, but hits the spot. On our first night in Vegas (in fact, throughout our entire trip, we were determined not to eat at any buffets), we wanted something cheap yet satisfying. We decided to head off the strip and found Coco’s right across the street from MGM. Outside and in, the place is a dive. Exterior looks run down, and the inside could use a good cleaning (I noticed dust on the knick knacks). However, if you look beyond that, the food here is inexpensive, decent service, and best of all, quiet. It was a long day and both of us were hungry, so we started with the Sampler Platter. It came with chicken fingers (3), butterfly shrimp (3), some kind of spring roll, deep fried tortilla chips with dip.I don’t know why they chose to give an odd number of chicken/shrimp, but oh well. The platter arrived piping hot, and we devoured it in no time. I liked the chip dip, it was good, it had a few leaves of artichoke in it. The other items weren’t bad, but you can tell it wasn’t home made but rather the frozen/processed kind. For the entree, I ordered the crispy fish and shrimp. Like the appy, it was obvious the items were frozen, but they did not skimp on the portions. I was not able to finish the entire platter, that should speak volumes on how much food there was on the plate.I have to also mention our waitress was fantastic. She was an older lady who had to tend to 5 – 6 tables, and despite her age, she attended to the tables very well. She filled our water glasses without asking, asked how the meal was, and informed us when our food would be coming out. If you’re looking for a satisfying meal that isn’t on the strip, relatively cheap, and you’re not overly picky (mostly frozen/processed food), good service, then Coco’s fits the bill.
Best breakfast in Las Vegas!
