Maybe I need to give this place a second chance. I didnt have anything wrong, I just didnt think it was as good as some of my go to steak houses in Las Vegas.
This is hands down one of, if not the best steak I have ever had! Me & wife had the grilled rib eye and New York strip. Cooked to perfection, smells like heaven, melts in your mouth like foie gras and bursts of rich complex flavors, the steak here is to die for. Oh, and service is excellent too!
Very pricey and not worth the money. Steaks, sides and dessert were all mediocre for the high price. A $70 ribeye should be amazing but was not. The best item was the potato gratin. Would not go back. There are so many better more affordable choices. Staff was friendly and service was decent.
Meh…. I had high expectations here and was disappointed by the entire meal. I guess if you’ve never had better you wouldn’t know any better but a short walk down to Smith and Wollenskys or even the much less pricey Ruth Chris’ will yield much better quality steaks. I tried both the filet mignon and ribeye and both were flavorless and the ribeye was shockingly tough. Good wine list though!
Best steak I’ve had.. I was in Vegas for my Batchelor party. We didn’t have resos Saturday night and we happened to find our way to MGM and waited at the bar for a table at Craftsteak. We were not disappointed. Two of my groomsmen and I each got the wagyu special and the fourth got the 32 oz porterhouse. The porterhouse took up about an eighth of the table and my friend couldn’t even finish. Our wagyu came as three different cuts which we all shared. They gave us strip steak, skirt steak and tenderloin and three sides as well. Our steaks could have all been cut with our forks. They were delicious. We had to ask them to hold the dessert as we were so full.I’ve been to a few other steak houses in Vegas, and the best we have back home in Vancouver, and none have been comparable to Craftsteak. Amazing.
It was …ok. I heard folks say it’s the best stake they’ve had..Not the best steak I’ve had. Apps were very good. Mozzarella with hazel nuts and the grilled calamari were very good. We had the ribeye and filet. Found they lacked flavor Sides were very tasty we had the eggplant and asparagus. Was happy to see the bodem coffe as well. Would I go back? Eh. Maybe.. But is rather go to Delmonico.
Food was great and service was phenomenal. Overall 4 of 5 stars. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is it just wasn’t quite good enough to justify 230$. The arugula salad was perfect the souffl was also perfect the steak was a perfect cut of meat and cooked just right however the seasoning just wasn’t wuite there. I am of course being extremely critical. 90% of people will think this is some of the best food they have eaten.
