Ordered the Flight of beer and loved all but the IPA(but I don’t like IPAs to begin with). Happy hour appetizers (blue cheese chips and potstickers) were spot on. Flatbreads were good as well.
Good stuffff. Try the Gorgonzola butter steak with garlic fries, of course if you don’t mind dragon breath, and wash it down with their seasonal. Lunch special I had was awesome – Jagerschnitzel with balsamic reduction cabbage, again with seasonal. No place I’ve been to could touch this quality for under $20.00. Service is overrated, so I don’t always notice, but we had very good service. I mean if it’s slow here dammit, have another beer!
Great beer and food.I loved it.
Really good hummus and goat cheese salad. Hef was only ok.
The food is ok. The beer isn’t.. Because it’s close to the airport I’ve gone a few times for a pre-flight dinner, each time asking and receiving a few small samples of their beers. Fortunately for my passengers I didn’t like any of them.
I’d read some bad reviews on service, so I did my normal thing to get around that: sit at the bar. It worked pretty well, as the bartender was attentive without being overbearing. I had the brewer’s chicken, which is chicken in a marzen sauce (made from their marzen beer), which had a sweet gravy-like flavor and consistency. The mashed red potatoes helped clean up the marzen sauce and the steamed veggies helped me feel better about the potatoes. All in all a good experience, though I’ve been to a number of brewpubs with comparable food and comparable-to-better brews at a considerably lower price. Still, it’s a slightly better than average brewpub experience, and certainly worth a try.
