Many moons ago I used to work at a Johnny Rockets when I was a university student. I loved my experience working there especially the customers and the tips. Unfortunately all the Johnny Rocket outlets were closed in Melbourne.I noticed that Johnny Rockets was in the MGM Grand complex so feeling a bit nostalgic decided to have some dinner and the next day came back for breakfast. For dinner I had the veggie burger with a veggie patty and salad with a lovely mix of sauce. The burger tasted delicious. My other half had the 100% American beef burger and this was devoured in minutes. My partner said it was a tad small and would have ordered another one had he known! This came with a side of fries which were cooked to perfection and not greasy at all. The next day we decided to come back for their breakfast as was happy with dinner. This was a completely different experience. We ordered the cheese and egg muffin. The muffin was cold and the egg didnt taste like egg. I left mine half way through. The best part were the potato croquettes I could have had those by the bucket load. I found the food a tad expensive as this outlet did not have table service. I would come back for dinner but definitely not breakfast as was put off by the egg and cheese muffin. Even the McDonalds muffins are tastier!
