Stopped in for Happy Hour before heading home and was pleased with the selections offered on the menu as well as the taste of each selection.Right off the bat, I recommend the happy hour for the plates me and friends ordered due to that fact that each item is pretty much double the cost on the regular menu. Might as well save yourself some cash because though the food is flavorful, the portions are small. The same goes for the hot sake carafe and Sapporo. Half off hot sake and Sapporo…I’m all for it!!!Now for the plates. There isn’t any specific order I’ll go in because everything pretty much came all at once. The sushi, the kobe beef potstickers, the tuna tacos, the calamari, and the skewers were all great. The big highlights though were the Mochiko fried chicken, the creamy tempura shrimp, the short rib dumplings and the roasted shishito peppers. These plates were eaten the fastest and were well worth ordering a couple of more rounds for (which we did of course). The shishito peppers were the best I’ve had by far and the short rib in the dumplings were awesome. I only wish there could have been more on the plate.Besides possibly still being hungry once you’ve finished depending on how much you’ve ordered, I have no complaints. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is nice and the Happy Hour is well worth giving a shot.Visit Date 12/13/2015
LOVE this place …granted I only had food from the Happy Hour meal, but everything was awesome. We visited the one at Planet Hollywood hotel in Vegas, and enjoyed happy hour . They have a decent selection of food and drink during happy hour, and we ordered a couple of dishes to share. Best Dim sum that I had in a long time, and the sushi was great too. Service also gets 5 stars from me as our waitress was attentive and present if we needed anything. Food is presented well. I recommend popping here for a few tasty bites before a night out, or if you heading to watch Britney Spears at the Axis, pop here beforehand and make a night of it:)
