If you’re a seafood lover, you’ll absolutely love this place! Mastro’s is an elegant dining experience in the centre of the Shops at Crystals. At our visit, we had the Oyster Rockefeller, Twin Lobster Tails and Pacific Swordfish. The food was absolutely delicious! We were the most impressed with the oysters and lobsters! Overall, we had such a positive experience and we would highly recommend Mastro’s to all.
We were lucky enough to visit two Mastro sites… in LA and Vegas….both amazing and very different apart from serving amazing food at both sites…1st class service and you really wont do better!
We’ve been enjoying Mastro’s since they first started service in Las Vegas when they offered lunch. It’s a family fave! The bread basket is so delicious we’ve learned not to order soups/salads or appetizers as we end up full before the entrees are served and then don’t enjoy the meal. The bread basket offers a variety of rolls and they are all warm and fresh and fragrant and amazing! I love shrimp and the sauted shrimp appetizer is my favorite for my entree. The sauce is a little spicy and rich and decadent and the crispy bread soaked in the sauce with the shrimp is AMAZING!!! I’m such a fan! Crab cakes are very meaty and get a great crispy crust seared on the outside which is the BEST! The filet mignon was rated the best cut of steak for the trip hands down and there was a filet all 3 nights at high end restaurants. Baked potato was perfect! Shared garlic mashed with the seafood entrees are a traditional classic done beautifully! Butter cake is hard to make room for until the first cut and the aroma is intoxicating. It’s super moist in the middle and the vanilla bean ice cream in the middle melts into the cake and makes it even more delicious if that’s possible. It’s served with a strawberry sauce drizzle and fresh strawberries. There’s a silver bowl of fresh whipped cream served alongside as well. Stop counting your carbs and savor the butter cake! It’s a tradition at Mastro’s for a reason!! It’s amazing!!! Landon was our server and he’s been there since they opened. He was wonderful!!! Friendly, attentive and we will ask for him going forward. We used a comp card from a bad Landry’s experience on a trip earlier this year. There was an issue with it originally and the manager Brandon was amazing with the communication, the resolution when it looked like it wouldn’t work and managing the experience in the process. We were all very impressed with the entire meal, service and management interaction! A complete class act!!
Dined here last week for dinner. Had calamari and scallops for starters which were actually pretty good. But their burrata blew all of us away. The burrata was creamy, soft, delicious. The heirloom tomatoes, were plump, sweet, juicy. This was so good that we had to order some more. For our mains, we mostly had the rib-eye steak, the tomahawk, and the blackened salmon. Everything was exceptional, my 22oz rib eye steak was perfectly medium (as requested). Full-on meat assault on the taste buds. I would like to comment on the sides though. Each order of the sides are good for sharing on the table. I thought the salt and pepper fries were delicious! Thin, crispy shoestring fries with a hint of salt and vinegar like you’d get from a chip shop. The creamed corn was exceptional, everyone fought over the last dregs of corn left on the dish. Everything could have been perfect. However, the gorgonzola mac n cheese was dry, almost rubbery. Nowhere near cheesy. It tasted old and not the faintest hint of Gorgonzola. The truffled gnocchi, although delicious, could use more work as it was too doughy. Service was up to par, waiters were knowledgable, courteous. It can be a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for in restaurants like this. Tip: complimentary bread basket offerings are delicious, but the garlic bread could give your jaws aworkout, so be cautious, my hungry friends.
One of the best meals I’ve had in my life. The truffle sashimi appetizer was excellent. Lots of Kobe and Wagyu beef options. The lobster bisque was amazing as well as the truffle gnocchi. Highly recommended and be prepared to drop some big bucks.
I can’t remember a better pieces of meat than the filet I had here. The service was just as good. All positive for me.
Smooth as silk.. Polished and smooth wait-staff and a very comfortable, elegant restaurant, this place really made my night. Out of everything I ate the lobster bisque and the perfectly cooked sea bass really stand out, especially the sea bass. Simply pan seared it was done to perfection and the creamed spinach I ordered was the perfect side. Quite possibly the best place to eat in City Center.
