My husband & I ate here for a late lunch. We had the shrimp scampi appetizer, which was a trifle overdone and the California Pizza. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the pizza as well as the House Sangria, which was homemade. Our waiter, Manuel was by himself, as he was running to and fro between tables. He did try and get out our food as fast as he could.
Dinner & a show ~ don’t bother. Happened to get sucked into one of those awful body snatcher scenarios when you are promised dinner and a show… Just come look at their location, it’s only a few blocks away (DON’T BELIEVE THEM)! Long story short, variety show was funny, Lombardi’s was worse than a Denny’s? I am not sure, been so many years since I’ve been in one. I think they only receive 1/2 the normal $ amount back from those body snatching time-share liars, so they feel it’s perfectly normal to give each person 1/2 a Caesar salad & 1/2 an entree. Perhaps they care very little about their reputation. Staff attitude drastically changed to almost rudeness as soon as the tickets for the dinner were shown. Once drinks were ordered, 2 of our 3 drinks came… I had to ask for the 3rd. The 1/2 Caesar salad with approximately 30 pieces of cut lettuce (I wish I had taken pictures it was pathetic) and 2 (yes I said TWO) croutons arrived. A few minutes later the focaccia bread arrived (VERY nummy, I recommend it ~ AND it was on a FULL plate!). Finally our 3rd drink arrives ~ (party of 3). The plates are taken away and the 1 of 4 dinner choices arrives. My poor husbands plate… Maybe if they served it on smaller plate it would not have looked quite so… sparse I guess is the best word for it, he had Chicken Marsala. My son & I had Fettuccine Alfredo, it was on a large plate with the bowl in the center, the fettuccine didn’t even fill the bowl. I just laughed, everyone looked at me funny because at that point I understood! They were pulling the same trick as the $3.95 breakfast place down the street!!!I probably would NEVER have bothered with this review had I not seen regular normal looking Caesar salads go right past my table to other waiting patrons, that and the waitress treating our table as lowly worthless patrons. I just do not recommend this restaurant if they cannot hold a high standard for all their patrons.
I think my chicken was leftovers reheated in the microwave. What kind of Italian restaurant can’t do a good chicken parm.
Our waitress was fantastic- food was sub par. We went here because of a dinner voucher, if I had paid for the food I would have been extremely disappointed.
My second visit was even better than my first. My waiter, Alvaro, recommended a pasta dish It was amazing. I sure wish I could remember the name of my dish. It was a fettuccini Alfredo dish with amazing mushrooms and chicken. As always, the bread is top notch. My friend and I decided to each have a glass of their Sangria. We both said it is the best sangria we have ever had! Bottom line is…we all love good Italian food. You not only get that here…but the service, friendliness, and whit from Alvaro will definitely bring me back a third time 🙂 thank you!
Great dinner. We visited for dinner as part of a free dinner and show package. Had very low expectations and were pleasantly surprised at the great dinner. Our group of four all had fantastic meals. The blackened tilapia was super spicy, which i love! The others had the chicken Marcella and all said it tasted good. The dessert chocolate cake was heavenly. Our waiter was friendly, suggested menu items we would enjoy, and was prompt with drink refills. We had our pictures taken by a photographer. The pictures were very good quality and an affordable souvenir.
My husband and I always visit Lombardi’s while in Las Vegas. The food is always excellent and the staff and management treat you like family. The decor is warm and inviting and I look forward to a relaxing with a nice glass of wine when I’m there. Great place, a must go to while in Vegas
