Perfection.. This restaurant was a highlight of my trip to Vegas. I ordered the tasting menu with the wine pairing and there wasn’t a single course that wasn’t delicious, intelligently and artfully presented and a pleasure to eat. Every component on every plate worked perfectly and was perfectly cooked. For example, I knew my portion of sea bass was perfectly done just by looking at it. Their ability to compose a plate delighted me and a number of times the dishes did not come out at all as I would have expected and I mean that in a good way. The butternut squash gnocchi was wonderfully presented, among the best I’ve ever eaten and the good food just kept on coming. At times the manager himself brought me my courses and seemed sincerely pleased at my positive and honest feedback. The wines were almost as good as the food and I enjoyed being able to try a variety, even if some of them were not to my own personal taste. From the dcor to the service right down to the food this is my kind of restaurant and I look forward to going there again.
Poor service. Though the food was good, the service was poor and i mean poor. A disinterested server who offered no greeting, nor asked if we had questions, nor even mentioned the unavailable items on the menu. Again the food was good. I wouldn’t waste an evening there.
Worth a visit!. Have visited Sensi a couple of times now and each time is as good as the other, cannot fault it really! reasonable wine selection too. I’ll certainly make a visit next time I’m in town! If your local or in town, I suggest taking a look at it.
So So for the Money. I have to agree with KD’s review. The turning to get to your seat is a little tummy tiring however the obscured of the kitchen is also odd. The food somehow doesn’t stack up to the description of the place being into sustainable farming. I felt cheated by my experience in a few ways. The price was costly for the portions. Also there is only 1 lavatory per gender. Very random given there is always a line, so you have to go out into the hotel most of the time, quite a trek. Overall this receives 2.5/3 out of 5. They need to up their game to get a better rating across the board. MANGIA!
Ambivalent experience. Sensi is expansive — you keep turning corners as the hostess takes you to your table and finally you reach a table with a view of one of the four kitchens. Actually there are 2 large, glass-enclosed kitchens and each is divided into 2: Italian and Asian & grill with seafood. I had a huge appetizer of mussels and clams cooked in a broth of chorizo with fennel. It was an excellent combination of flavors — the shellfish was very, very fresh and succulent. Unfortunately, our entrees didn’t match up to the appetizer. My curry was extremely tomatoey and actually tasted like canned tomato soup. The pad Thai was somewhat better but not exceptional. The large amount of warm Indian bread that is delivered not long after you are seated was exceptionally good — hot , fluffy and fresh. Also the accompanying garnishes were flavorful, especially the raita. The raita was thick, creamy and tasted of fresh mint and cucumber. Actually could have made a meal of the raita and the nan. Service is attentive and quick. Look for Sensi in the Spa Tower of Bellagio; it’s not near the casino.
Awesome meal! Loved the steak that i ordered. Service was superb.
Very good, very eclectic. My daughter and I had a very pleasant evening at Sensi. The food is really eclectic. It shoots in many directions: Italian, Japanese, Thai, Indian, American steak, etc. Very hard to choose the perfect wine for such a menu. Also very expensive: First time in my life I pay 32$US for Indian butter chicken. But this is Las Vegas prices! The restaurant is gorgeous and the service was truly (to my surprise!) professional and friendly. If your not afraid to pay more then 100$ per person (which include starter, entre, wine & tips) I highly recommend the place to you.
