As a Total Rewards member I used to count on good food and fairly reasonable prices at their properties. This has greatly changed over the past year or so. This Sidewalk Cafe serves a breakfast buffet from 6-11 A.M. for $11.99. Most of their menu items were $1.00 less when you use their Total Rewards card. This apparently is not so with the buffet. I’m cheap you say? Perhaps. But when they advertise a discount, they should deliver. I have a lot of issues with Caesars Entertainment but that’s another story. They did leave the breakfast bar open until 11:30 but nothing new was added. The cheese omelets were old and dry so I didn’t even attempt to eat that. Bacon was fine. Home fries were desiccated and void of any flavor. The breakfast brioche was rubbery, not flaky and their chicken fried steak was okay but won’t comment any further. The meal was tolerable and four hours later I am still satiated so at least I can say that. Service was helpful and prompt. Bally’s, due to their horrid location on the Strip is not a casino that I would return to on my own, so will most likely not return to Sidewalk Cafe.

I ordered a Cobb salad thinking that would be pretty hard to mess up. WRONG! Rotten lettuce, dried out cheese, frozen tomato chunks. Just awful! Other disappointments were a dried out burger that took 10 minutes longer than everyone else’s food, brown eggs, and flimsy bacon. Our waters were constantly empty to the point that I grabbed a manager and asked for a refill and a few extra glasses of water for the table. When it came time to pay the waiter refused to split the check! I don’t plan on staying at Bally’s ever again, but I would NEVER choose to eat here if I somehow found myself back inside.

Bad. Just bad. Cold food. Really bad service. Worst dining experience I’ve had in Vegas.
