Another first class steakhouse and Wynn quality. The cedar strip oysters are a fun appy and the show on the patio always worth it especially if you can sit outside when the weather is right. A huge staff will look after you if you are a big group.
I came here before on one of my buddies trip with the guys. The steak was good, but not the best I ever had. The service was good, exactly what you would expect from a Steve Wynn property. We didnt know that there was a show every 30 minutes in the waterfall area (the restaurant is across from a large man made waterfall that changes colors as you dine). The show was great. It was very colorful and a pleasant addition to the dining experience. My buddy suggested I take my Girlfriend next time we came to Vegas. Fast forward to last weekend. My girlfriend and I were in town to celebrate our birthdays, which are 13 days apart. This was the perfect opportunity to take her to SW steakhouse. We had reservations for exactly 5:30 on a Saturday (they open at 5:30) because we had tickets to the Chicago Concert over at the Venetian Theatre. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly. We told him we werent very hungry because we had a late lunch, but had early dinner reservations because of the show. He recommended we ordered half orders of sides, since my GF wanted Mushrooms and a Green Vegetables (Excellent Suggestion, plus Im a typical guy, if there are NO Green Vegetables, NO Problem). I had the New York Strip (Medium-Rare). My GF had the Ribeye (Medium). Mine was perfect: perfectly done, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly charred. It was very flavorful and very tender. My Girlfriend said her steak was a little under cooked, but it was so tender she didnt mind (and didnt want to send it back). I barely finished my steak and my GF only finished half. But since it was our Birthdays we figured we needed to order a dessert. We ordered the Pecan Praline Paris-Brest. OMG it was DELICIOUS!! I was so FULL, but it was SO GOOD. We finished all but 1 bite. The Service, the Steaks, and the Atmosphere was great, but We are coming back for the Dessert!!!
