Very disappointing. Ate here about two years ago, and went back the other night and thought it had gone downhill quite a lot. Poor selection, not a good range, and boring food. Some was quite dried out, so had obviously been sitting out a while, and was very overpriced I thought – at $30 a head we could have done a lot better.
Summary: Gross. We went …. Summary: Gross. We went for dinner on a Sunday before a show and the food was horrible. Everything was extremely bland and some dishes were cold. The only good item was crab legs, and they didn’t even give you crab forks or crushers to eat it properly. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Don’t bother!. One of the worse buffets i have ever been too. the eggs were awful, fish cold, would never go back. for thatprice, and have to serve your own drinks, really?? think management of the monte carlo have not eaten here.the hotel is lovely, just fix this buffet, please!
Worst. Meal. Ever. Not worth a dime. Fish tasted like dirt. Crab legs were FROZEN, not just cold. Frozen solid! Very SUB PAR for the Monte Carlo. Very disappointed.
Not as good as it used to be. We’ve been going to the Monte Carlo for several years, and we’ve eaten at the buffet at least 30-35 times, but not in the past 5 years. We went there tonight, and we were very disappointed. It’s not nearly as good as it used to be, either in variety, or quality of the food. Disappointing. There are so many good choices nearby, so go somewhere else if you can.
The buffet was so so but considering the price, I would say I wasn’t happy about it. The foods looked messy probably coz the staff put the leftover ones randomly on top of the new batch. The surroundings weren’t the cleanest either.Upside though is that night the manager walked around and chitchatted a bit with patrons. And I loved the pudding I had..
Good value buffet. The price is reasonable at about $25 each for dinner. Its not top of the line but it is pretty good. The carving station included prime rib and turkey. There were cold prawns and dungeness crab legs. The gyoza, spring rolls and short ribs where also good. There were other good items as well. For the price I would recommend it over other Buffets. Its not going to be the best but for Vegas the value is reasonable (you have to adjust your value meter in Vegas).
