This is not sushi. This is cold hard rice with tasteless fish and seafood. It is a buffet, I know, but there is no excuse for this mediocre food. I took 10-12 pieces of assorted rolls and nigiri, and ate 5. That was all I could force myself to eat.
Rice was cold and not sure how this place got an 84%. The sushi is not good at all. I am not a sushi expert but have eaten at many sushi restaurants. The octopus tastes like the salmon which tastes like the tuna. If you enjoy flavorful sushi rolls or nigiri, do not eat here. We are amazed this level of eating exists in Vegas where the competition is so intense. All thumbs down!
The sushi is more than adequate but you have to accept the lack of innovation. Shrimp and crab are fresh and plentiful. If you don’t like sushi so much then I wouldn’t recommend. Neither if would I reccomend if you want top class sushi. If you are starving and want a lot of sushi this is your pick
A fun Lunch. For the best deal use your $5 off coupon in the vegas magazine and come for lunch during the week because the price goes up on weekend and they are more expensive for dinner. I like all the variety and all the tiny mini desserts. The Korean Beef was very good and better than at some Korean restaurants I’ve been to. I also liked all the Asian salads. They have many food stations. The sushi isn’t the most high end but it is good.
I have eatin here a yr ago with ppl. We all loved it. This yr I returned to vegas and my bf I went. We loved it. We tried almost every type of sushi. The crab legs were very good too for a buffet. The shrimp and edamame was also bery good. We did not eat anything that was on the hot section. The desserts were tiny and average. Overall, well worth the $70 for two people (both ordered water).
Half the place is sushi. Ok if you really like that. Other half lacking adequate good choices. Crab legs are on ice-prefer mine warm though. Desserts good. Staff decent. For the price overall-not worth it.05 May, 2012Half the place is sushi. Ok if you really like that. Other half lacking adequate good choices. Desserts good. Staff decent. The sushi, seafood and cheese cake were all really good. We were kind of shocked when we got the bill, but it’s what we would expect in Vegas. Still very good and a lot of fun.
