Love Todai but see a decline. We were here twice in 2 weeks and while we really enjoyed the food, I think that they have lost a bit of their previous high quality by not offering decent sashimi (a big pile of raw fish scraps is not sashimi) The seared tuna nigiri was awesome and the oysters were great – their rolls are ok and there is ample selection but it would be nice if they had a bit more of a description as many look the same- the hot selection has gone a bit more Chinese/American with a few dishes and the gyoza are not as good as they used to be but over all, we enjoyed the dinner and my kids were given fantastic service by the sushi chefs – they were given as much octopus sashimi as they wanted and it was much appreciated by my 10 year oldOn the second night we were there, a tour group of 100 came in and wiped them out of food for about 20 minutes but I was impressed by how quickly they recovered from the locust type swarming of the buffet.
