Major changes and not for the better. It’s been about a year and a half since I’ve been to this location (and was the last time I was at a Caf Rio). Portion sizes have changed; the mild, medium and hot sauces were more like sweet salad dressings rather than spicy; warm/cool food. The food wasn’t as well cooked through their oven as I have known them to be. Quite apparently there have been a number of changes within the past 18 months, and as a consumer I was not pleased with any of them. Doubtful that I’ll be back.
Best quesadillas anywhere! Guacamole is to die for! I’ve been there a lot of times and it is always excellent!!
We love their food. This is almost always our weekly place to eat out. Good portions, and kids get free kids quesadillas. Everything I have had has been delicious. We love the chips and Queso!!
The service was horrible. The soda machines were completely out of soda and the food was horrible. Never will come back.
I’m a fan of Cafe Rio. I really like the food and will eat here again. I especially liked watching them make the fresh tortillas. Great food and great prices. I’ll be back!
Not the best Mexican….. Their food is somewhat healthier than other Mexican restaurants, but not as tasty. The cilantro rice is horrible. What’s worse it they give military discounts when they feel like it. It’s hit or miss…one guy told us that it’s against their Corporate Policy, while a few ladies have given it to us. Wishy washy. If you don’t want to support the military, then don’t operate in an area where we all live. They only discount the food for cops now. Well, we don’t support them now, and drive to Zaba’s instead.
I think there’s a little bit of hype around this place but re food is good so maybeit deserves it. Either way, I’d go back.
