U S Postal Service Family Group. on 6 Aug 2016 , we the US Postal Service decided to do a breakfast get together. we choose the Egg Works on Sunset Rd. We have held union meeting there before,First we would like to thank the entire management, and all the staff, for making our day a great success. the food was very good , great customer service, and just overall kindness everywhere. We the US Postal Service try to serve the world daily with great mail service. Today Egg Works provided us with great service. I would tell any customer out ther to look the Resturant up. They make you feel at home. Thanks Again Michael Woody, Retired Postal Worker/ Retired U S Airforce.
Fantastic breakfast. Lots of choices so it was hard to decide. I finally went with the fiesta breakfast skillet with chorizo. Potatoes, onions, green chilis, habla Diablo and chorizo topped with cheese and two fried eggs. Eggs were perfectly cooked and the dish was well seasoned. Coffee was perfect diner coffee. The banana nut muffins were delicious. Great price break compared to restaurants in the casinos.
I’ve been eating at EggWorks going on 10 years now. Unfortunately it’s gone downhill. The food is still good, but portions are smaller, prices went way up, and they discontinued the lovely side fruit they used to give you.The coupon this place puts out is ridiculous. Buy 1 Get 1 Free! Sounds great, right? Except there’s an $8 limit on the ”free” entree, and very few entrees are $8 at EggWorks. Recently they put out a coupon for Buy 1 Get 1 Free, but with a $5 limit. I called the restaurant and was assured the $8 would still be taken off, and it was. Next time I tried to use the same coupon the hostess argued with me and said only $5 would be taken off. I explained to her that was the discount for the Buy 1 Get 1 Half Off coupon, but she still argued with me.Simply put, I’m not going there much anymore. It’s too expensive, service is slow, and sometimes downright bad. And I can eat a lot of places where their coupon is gladly accepted.
I thought the food was good not great. I had the chicken enchilada omelette. It was good and unique but not outstanding. Had a short stack of pancakes. They were fluffy but a bit dense.
Best we have found in Vegas — or anywhere else.. We took some guests to the Egg Works at Sunset and Eastern based on ratings. The ratings were very good, but not nearly as good as our experience which was PERFECT.Our waitress was Donna and we have not had better service in any restaurant at any time including top rated $200 per person dinners. We only tipped her 30% and felt guilty for not giving her more. She is a gold star person with a great sense of humor. I recommend the food and the service. The highest recommendation I can give.
Good corned beef hash,potatoes need attention,chile relleno omelette was only ok,Turkey sausage wasn’t good.
