Yum. This small restaurant serves up authentic portions of ramen. The spicy miso ramen wasnt as spicy as it looked. The fried chicken nuggets were a good starter.
I ordered the tonkotsu miso ramen which came with green onions, an egg, corn, and pork chasu.Noodles- On the thicker side, had a good chew and held their texture well even till the last bite.Broth- Strong miso flavor and not overly salty. Had a good oil sheen.Toppings- the fattiest slice of pork chasu I’ve ever had. Lacked a flavor beyond just plain pork. Egg’s yolk was partially hard-boiled instead of runny/soft.OVERALL- A bit steeply priced for what you get. Portion size was slightly smaller than most ramenya I’ve been to, but it was just right for me. Bonus points as they have stamp card which will eventually get you an appetizer. Atmosphere was welcoming and not too crowded.
We are visiting from Manila, and the ramen in this place is as good as the Japanese ramen joints back home!! We were all so happy! We all agreed on the gyoza and the honey garlic chicken. But I would certainly suggest that you try the ramen with the garlic flavour!
