This evening I was a first time visitor to Peru Chicken. I read a few reviews before going, and made the decision to give it a try. I was not disappointed. I tried the Saltado de Pollo. It was delicious, and plenty of food. The cost was $10 plus tax. The rotisserie chicken looked especially good, but was a bit much for me to eat on my own, because I cannot store it. I would be happy to visit Peru Chicken again, and recommend you give it a try.Update: I went there again, and tried the rotisserie chicken based on the recommendations of other reviewers. Fantastic! I highly recommend it. I ordered the half chicken with rice and beans.
It’s a hole in the wall, but the food is great, price is truly $10 or less, and good service. I’ve had the pollo a la brasa and lomo Saltado, both were delicious! I think the best part are the sauces they serve you, the yellow is my favorite. The chicha morada and maracuya are $1.50 for a large cup unlike $4.50 the Cuban place next door charges. It’s more of a take out place, but people do stay to eat if there’s room. Love it!
