Cold food and expensive drinks!
Horrible service. Horrible food. I ordered the nachos that were suppose to have black beans, there were no black beans. The cheese was hard. The guacamole was from a bag. I know cause I used to buy the same guacamole for the hospital that I worked at. My friend ordered the ceviche, bold choice for someone getting on a plane. She hated it. Ceviche is seafood (scallops, shrimp, and crab usually) cooked in an acidic marinade. They did not make it right. My other friend had the chili cheese fries, hello hormel chili from a can. The drinks were out if his world expensive. They were good but they don’t tell you the price of the drink on the menu. The waiter didn’t check up on us, he didn’t even deliever our food. When he asked for the check (we should not have to ask for the check, especially when you’re in a restaurant in an airport the check should come fast). The waiter was constantly looking over at the table while printing out the ticket, pretty sure he had no clue what we had ordered. My friend who ordered the ceviche actually went down the Concourse and bought a sub from jersey mikes. Do not eat here.
Food tasted like it was a day old. Waitress wasn’t very friendly.
Don’t waste money on booze here. My wife and I are big on Margarita’s. One would hope that a restaurant bearing Sammy Hagar’s name, knowing he brands a tequila, would at least be capable of producing a margarita worth drinking. We ordered two of the name sake margarita and, after watching the bartender make it from bottles that have the fixed pour amount tops, were leery. Our worries were confirmed when we got a disgusting concoction that tasted like a cross between lime Gatorade and sour mix. To add insult to injury, these two sixteen ounce drinks that contain one shot of tequila, best case, came out to $32 with tax. Are you kidding? $2 worth of liquor and some sugar mix for a 16 times markup; thanks Sammy, won’t be seeing you any time soon.
Pretty mediocre. I’ve always thought about eating here on my way through Vegas. I finally pulled the trigger and was fairly disappointed. I had a burger and fries, which also came with some Mexican slaw. I’m entirely willing to chalk this up to being early in the day (11 am) or just a fluke, but the burger was definitely not worth the $14 it cost. Low-quality meat, soggy fries, and the slaw was straight from the can, possibly microwaved for a few seconds. The atmosphere was nice, rock music, ESPN on the TVs. And some of the other diners’ selections looked appetizing (quesadillas, chicken fingers). But I would have been as well off quality-wise at a fast food joint. Perhaps if I’d had a few drinks, I would not have minded. Sammy would be disappointed.
Breakfast is good but the only egg style is scrambled
