Don’t bother with this place. My wife and I had lunch at east side Sammys today. The place is the size of a large walk-in closet but not as clean. Brian was taking orders today and I felt that unless you are a regular he doesn’t have any patience with you. I thought he was very rude. We had a coupon from our entertainment book and he said good we were using it as he wasn’t taking them much longer because they were to busy. My wife wanted a regular cheeseburger with American Cheese, lettuce and tomato. He said they don’t have mayo or American Cheese. Seriously. I wanted ice tea and he said they didn;t have any and they were out of several of the other soft drinks. I had a pastrami reuben and the way it was prepared left half the meat cold. My wife said her burger wasn’t the worst she had. The french fries were the best part on the meal. We have had much better food many other places, were trated better and will not go back to Sammys. He might want to reconsider the entertainment coupons becaue if his attitude and food aren’t any better than what we had today, he will need the business.
The only place i have found in vegas that i can get a Chicago style italian beef combo. Its great!
Well, if you decide to eat at Sammy’s then get ready to consume an incredible amount of fat and calories. There’s absolutely nothing on this menu that’s a healthy option and the owner takes pride in that fact. Each dish is a large amount of mediocre food, the pastrami sandwhich was decent but packed with lots of fat in the meat. So if you’re down for an incredibly heavy meal and don’t care much about your button flying off your pants when you’re done, go to Sammy’s!
A damn good sandwich. I stumbled upon Sammy’s, and decided to try it. Right when I walked in, I noticed the impressive collection of awards, including several from this year. I was not dissapointed. My pastrami sandwhich was great, as were the fries.
