This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Reno. It’s perfect for lunch. The tacos are so authentic and margaritas are strong. I especially love the chicken quesadilla – the cheese is heavenly and it’s never greasy. I’m never disappointed with a meal at Beto’s.
Mostly authentic…. A perfect little authentic hole in the wall in downtown Reno. Aleays busy. Great prices, hard-working staff, cooked to otder…everything is very authentic, except the chips. They are right out of a bag. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars if they made their own chips.
Showells. This place is highly overrated service is bad order taker is very unfriendly you seem to be involved in a discussion with somebody else on the crewI have never understood how this place is so busy there are much better Mexican restaurants
The Betos down town not as good as Betos in sparks. I ordered the chilies rellenos at the Betos down town, they were really salty and the horchata was too sweet!! Do not think I’ll be going to the down town Betos again
Not good taco trucks are better. Don’t waste your time or money on this place it was low quality ingredients and disgusting their water taste like dish water and you need a napkin to soak up all the grease
Fair?. Combination plate with tamal & enchilada. Tamale was warm, beans rice and enchilada were cool. Flavor would have been good if food was fresh instead of probably sitting in a not warm enough serving pan. No excuse for serving cold food.
The food there is really authentic and delicious I like other Mexican food places but definitely Beto’s Mexican Food is the best
