Friday/Saturday BBQ Buffet. As a rule, I don’t do buffet, but I would go back the Branding Iron. We took our neighbor there for her 85th birthday on Saturday night. The restaurant is open 24/7, it was not full (even though the Rib-Cookoff was in full swing) and all three of us enjoyed ourselves.They had a carving station with prime rib, bbq ribs…both beef AND pork, popcorn shrimp, and a pastry case with cheesecake, rocky road cake, all types of fruit and cream pies, and a bunch of other fresh cakes. The salad was green with a good selection of toppers. Mac & cheese, mashies with gravy (on Friday they offer catfish).Three of us (using the house casino card gaving us a $1. per person discount) and one beer ran $36. (includes tip $3.50). The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the bbq sauce was just darn tasty.Did I mention along with the buffet you may also choose from a complete menu.We liked it and will be back.
