Not a fan of the beer. I have heard some say they like it, but I’m particular. The food though, is quite amazing. I’m a huge fan. The Mac n cheese is quite possibly the best I’ve ever had.
Great Gastropub!. The food and the beer at this place is one of the few spots on the West Coqast that get the gastropub mix – hearty, but sophisticated food; local appropriate beers, clubby atmsophere – spot on! They are new-ish brewers, but the selection is good and clearly they do not intend to rest on the laurels they have already won.
My husband and I had a great time! Food was good…beer was great!
We have eaten here 5 times now & have had a great experience each time. The beer is great food is exceptional especially for Reno. I would highly recommend if you are looking for something new & off the beaten path of chain restaurants.
This is a restaurant with steak tartare on the menu. Problem is, it’s not steak & it’s not tartare.
Great, great, great food, beer and dining experience! Food was outstanding, some of the best we have ever had and service was good. We are only in Reno for a few days and already plan on going back!
Worst dining experience ever!. I really wanted to like this place, but found it to be the single worst dining experience I have ever had. My colleagues and I regularly go out for happy hour together and we try to visit different local places to support restaurants that are helping to revitalize Reno. After about an hour and a half, we enjoyed the food enough (their fries are good) to decide to stay on for dinner. Some of us began ordering entrees while others were trying to decide what to order, and to my amazement, the waitstaff began telling us that we had been using the tables too long and that they had other people who wanted the seating. I asked, incredulous, if they were kicking us out. I expected them to say, no, of course not, but instead all they did was lecture us on how long we had been there and how inconsiderate we were being to other customers who were waiting. We settled on consolidating our two tables to one, which we did to be agreeable in spite of the staffs arrogant posturing. All this happened while we were ordering hundreds of dollars of food and drink and trying to support them! Unbelievable. Of course we stayed to finish our food and pay the bill, and as we were finishing the last of our drinks, a big bearded staff member really did tell us to leave, giving us another lecture on how we were being rude to make their other customers wait.Look at the other reviews here and you’ll see that the service at this place is a big problem. Maybe it’s because this is a trendy locale for the moment, and they are feeling self-important and smug. They need a change in management to see the ridiculousness of their staff’s rude, self-serving attitudes. I definitely won’t be back.
